About the Seminar:
Every Year, Wasser and Bau organizes a training workshop for Water Professionals in Germany in collaboration with the German Association for Water Wastewater and Waste DWA based in Hennef near Cologne in Germany.
This year training workshop will focus on water supply and Wastewater.
Participants will understand the basic setup of the German water sector – it´s structure, facts and figures, stakeholders, the administrative setup, history and current topics from the industry.
The following questions are going to be answered:
Why does Germany have so many standards and rules?
Who develops them?How do they work in practice?
TVET – Technical Vocational Education and Training in the German water sector. – How does that work? – Which kind of occupations is provided? – What are the lessons for Nigerians?
TSM – Technical Safety Management system in Germany, in charge of energy, gas, water supply, wastewater and rivers. – Who is charge? – Why do we need it in Nigeria?
How are infrastructures organized and financed Next to the overview on the German system, examples of adaptations and transfer possibilities to Nigeria will be covered.
The participants will gain an understanding of the work of associations, the regulator and the operator. Group work, show cases and discussions are the basis of the seminar.

Participation Fee:
$3,000 or ₦4,800,000 (at ₦1,600/$ pegged rate)
Note: Participants will pay any difference in exchange rate as of travel date.

* Hotel accommodations for all stay in Europe.(6 nights)
* Visa Application Processing Fee (including logistics)
* Conference Registration Fee and Administrative Charges
* Tour fees and transportation within Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
Eligibility criteria for participation
This targets participants, who are expected to:
* Be a professional or engineer in public or private sector
* MD/CEO of organization or Staff of any organization
* Must commit to returning to Nigeria after the programme

Refund:
In event of Visa denial , participants will be refunded 90% of the participation fee. 10% will be for visa processing
In event of inability to travel after getting the visa, participants will only be refunded 70% of the participation fee.
