About the Trade Mission
Every year, Wasser and Bau organizes international technical tours and workshops to expose professionals to global innovations and standards.
In 2026, the focus shifts to Germany, the home of IFAT Munich – the world’s leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste management, recycling, and environmental technologies.
This international training and exposure tour will allow participants to:
• Attend IFAT Munich 2026, showcasing over 3,000 exhibitors in environmental technology and sustainability.
• Visit leading water treatment plants, recycling facilities, and innovation centers across Germany.
• Learn how Germany manages its water, wastewater, and waste systems through advanced technologies and strong policy frameworks.
• Explore practical ways these systems can be adapted and implemented in Nigeria’s environmental and water sectors.
Participants will gain deep insights into Germany’s circular economy, infrastructure management, and technical safety systems, supported by industry visits and expert interactions.

Dates: May 2 – 9, 2026 (8 Days in Europe)

• Munich – IFAT Exhibition & Environmental Technology Visits
• Hennef (near Bonn) – German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) Training Visit
• Berlin / Cologne – Policy and Sustainability Tours
Participation Fee: ₦4,500,000
Note: Participants will pay any difference in exchange rate as of travel date.

In event of Visa denial , participants will be refunded 90% of the participation fee. 10% will be for visa processing
In event of inability to travel after getting the visa, participants will only be refunded 70% of the participation fee.
